Automotive lenses mainly include optical lenses (including optical lenses, filters, protective films, etc.), spacers, retaining rings, and barrels.
The optical lens is responsible for focusing the light and projecting the objects in the field of view onto the surface of the imaging medium. Depending on the requirements of the imaging effect, multiple layers of optical lenses may be required. The filter can filter out the light waves that the human eye cannot see, leaving only the visible light wave of the actual scene within the human eye's field of view.
The manufacturing process and reliability requirements of automotive lenses are also higher than those of industrial car lenses and commercial car lenses. Because cars need to work in harsh environments for a long time, automotive lenses need to remain stable in complex working conditions such as high and low temperatures, severe vibration, and high humidity.
High temperature resistance: Automotive lenses need to work normally within the temperature range of -40℃~ 85℃ and be able to adapt to the severe temperature changes;
Shock resistance: Vehicles traveling on uneven roads will produce strong vibrations, so automotive lenses must be able to withstand various intensities of vibrations;
Waterproof: Automotive lenses must have strong waterproof performance, so they can still be used normally after soaking in rainwater for several days;
Service life: The service life must be at least 8 to 10 years to meet the requirements;
Ultra wide-angle: The side-view panoramic car lens must be ultra wide-angle, with a horizontal viewing angle of 135°;
High dynamic range: The car travels at a fast speed, and the light environment facing the car lens changes drastically and frequently. The CMOS of the car lens requires high dynamic characteristics;
Low noise: It can effectively suppress noise in low light conditions, especially requiring the side-view and rear-view car lenses to capture clear images even at night.
