Compared to ordinary LED headlights, digital projection headlights offer glare-free high-definition quality and a resolution of over 2 million pixels. Eachautomotiveprojection headlighthas a resolution of over one million pixels, enabling not only ideal lighting conditions at night but also enhancing visual support for driver assistance systems. The core technology of digital projection headlights involves a chip working in coordination with over 1 million micro-reflectors, with each car having a total of over2 million micro-reflectors. The camera and sensor systems in the vehicle detect other cars, and the powerfulECU (Electronic Control Unit) evaluates the data and digital navigation maps within milliseconds and sends commands to the headlight for optimal light distribution under all circumstances.
Compared to laser headlights and LED headlights, digital projection headlights can minimize the risk of dazzling oncoming drivers, aimed at improving road traffic safety. The intelligent design can automatically adjust the lighting direction and points of illumination. With a pixel count as high as one million, it's like having a million small light bulbs. By constantly turning these small bulbs on and off, the light beam that hits oncoming vehicles is minimized without impacting the frontal illumination, ensuring that oncoming drivers do not feel the glare.
In addition to preventing oncoming drivers from being dazzled, digital projection headlights have another crucial function, projecting high-definition symbols on the road, much like a projector, to provide information within the driver's field of view and communicate with surrounding vehicles or pedestrians. This functionality has various application scenarios in practical driving, greatly enhancing driving safety and convenience.
Scenario 1: Warning When Leaving the Lane
If you accidentally leave your lane while driving and the vehicle's radar detects obstacles or oncoming cars, digital projection headlights can project danger signs on the ground to timely warn you. This feature effectively prevents potential dangers caused by lane departure.
Scenario 2: Narrow Road Guidance
When encountering construction ahead or narrow roads, digital projection headlights can project guiding lines, representing two light traces of the car's width. These light traces guide you through the narrow road ahead while helping you judge if it's safe to pass, thus avoiding scrapes or other accidents.
Scenario 3: Nighttime Pedestrian Alerts
While driving at night, if a pedestrian suddenly appears ahead, the vehicle detects it, and the digital projection headlights will project iconic arrows on the road to alert you to the pedestrian's location and direction, ensuring driving safety.
Scenario 4: Safe Distance on the Highway
While driving on the highway, you may want to maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. At this moment, digital projection headlights can set projection distance lines, such as 50 meters, enabling you to judge the actual distance from the car ahead and avoid rear-end collisions.
Additionally, the headlights can project symbols for low-grip surfaces, construction sites, rear-end collisions, lane keeping, blind spots, and speed symbols.
